InsatiableMind is for people who love to read deeply and who travel to be transformed - and who want what they learn to keep shaping them.
Most tools capture ideas and memories and file them away. InsatiableMind keeps your books, your experiences, and your insights alive and evolving - so that the ideas and encounters that changed you in the past continue to collide and interact with one another in the present. Every day.
A walk through my own reading — and a glimpse of what one built from yours could be.
Notes in the Margin
Every stop and every individual quote has its own notes field for your own thoughts — reactions, connections, questions. Tap the margin icon in the bottom bar to open the stop-level note, or the margin icon on any quote card to annotate that quote directly.
Photos
At each stop, tap the camera icon in the bottom bar to take a photo or choose one from your library. A visual record of where you were and what you were looking at when an idea landed. Photos are saved per stop and appear in your Review.
Stars
Star a stop or an individual quote to flag what landed. Your starred moments appear in the Review panel for easy return.
Constellations
When a quote feels connected to another, long-press (hold) any quote card to open the constellation sheet. Group quotes — from one stop or from anywhere in the walk — into a named constellation. Constellating a quote never moves it: it stays where it is, marked with a small constellation glyph. The constellation itself lives in Review, under Constellations, where you name it and write what you noticed. A constellation is a connection you made, and it belongs to no single stop.
Set aside
Not every quote belongs where it landed. Swipe a quote card to the left to set it aside, and note why — wrong stop, doesn’t land today, redundant, and so on. If it really belongs at a different stop, you can move it there instead. Everything you set aside collects in a tray at the bottom of the stop, ready to restore whenever you like.
A note on this version
This is a proof of concept. Your notes, stars, and constellations are saved in your browser only — not to a server, and not across devices or browsers. Use the download option in Review to save your walk before closing.
